I love our beautiful crape myrtle tree in the front yard between my neighbor Judy and me. Rich always kept the bushes around the tree trimmed so nice and back in September 2023 he did a major trimming and cut the bushes away from the tree so the beauty of the trunk could be seen when people drive by. Today is National Kick Butt Day, it’s celebrated the 2nd Monday in October and it’s the day to get motivated and get projects done whether at home or work. No more planning, get busy and do whatever you have been putting off! I have been kicking butt this entire month working on decluttering the garage and upstairs guest room closet and den. Today is Spiritual Sunday and the Mass this weekend was about faith and gratitude. Gratitude or thankfulness is letting someone know you appreciate their kindness. This is done without fanfare or expecting anything in return and whether you are the giver or receiver of gratitude it can make you feel thankful and blessed. Okay my Stilly Saturday Busted is not what you may think! I don’t even drink beer or liquor but this is my story and I’m sticking to it.
