Today is Good Friday and our church, Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, had a reenactment of the final hours of Jesus’ life and his crucifixion put on the Spanish members of the church. There are 14 Stations of the, some churches have paintings, others have sculptures, our church has sculptures. These are the 14 Stations of the Cross but we didn’t walk around to each one today, instead we had a moving reenactment. Jesus was being beaten as he carried the cross, he was then put on
Today is Throwback Thursday and the perfect day to let you all know I found my album! What album you ask? My album filled with pictures of some of the prom and wedding gowns I created starting way back in the early 1970’s. Part of the reason why it’s taken so long is because of my wonderful neighbors who keep bringing me dinner and there is usually enough leftovers for one or two more meals! Yesterday I had delicious leftovers from Sunday’s dinner.

Mom loved flowers as far back as I remember when I was a young girl. We always had a side yard filled with Iris and Tulips plus lilac bushes. I remember picking bouquets for my teachers in grade school and mom or grandma would wrap the stems with wet paper towels then cover it with
