My mom and dad celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 16, 1993. My sister and I planned a big party and they renewed their wedding vows. Mom was already in the mid stages of Alzheimer’s but she was excited to see so many friends and family together. Today’s blog is short and sweet. My daughter gave me a beautiful tote bag for Christmas but it is white! I didn’t what to use it and have it get dirty but I didn’t want to just have it hanging on the door. So I came up with a plan. I made a tote bag pillow! Quick and simple project, I stuffed the tote bag with filler then pushed the straps inside the bag. I had planned to add velcro to close it but then I had another idea. I
It’s Wordless Wednesday almost, as I try hard to keep quiet and just post pictures. But that doesn’t seem to work for me. LOL This is my latest tattoo I got for Christmas 2025. It’s Rich’s and my Zodiac signs, he’s Leo the Lion, I’m Pisces the fish. I love the way the lion is looking at the fish, the same way Rich would look at me with his loving eyes. I finished my three themes of the guest room! It took some time because I needed to think this out as to how to be able to decorate it three different ways. I started in August with a new mattress platform with storage drawers underneath, this is really cool as I can store each different bedding in them. Then in October I completed the first guest room.
