My mom passed away on January 15, 2000 just ten days before her 80th birthday. Rich and I made a memorial garden for mom, she loved flowers. Each year we would add different flowers and plants. In 2020 we added a large Angel statue to her garden and Rich would spread all the dried rose petals around the base of the Angel. Hi everyone, it’s Friday Story Time by Lia and I’ve had another busy week. Last weekend mommy and I went to a fall festival and there was so much to do. They had stacks of pumpkins all different size and types. I even got to pick some apples! They had fun things to do and bit hay bales piled up to climb on. Mom, today is National Make a Dog’s Day! Does that mean I get extra ice cream tonight? Snowball was not adopted at a shelter but once we saw him at the breeder we fell in love with him. Lia was about 2 1/2 and as soon as their eyes met this 8 week old puppy became a member of our family. Even though Snowball was a family dog, Lia always said he was her dog. Whether playing, sleeping, dancing or just riding in the car, the two were always together.
