Today is National Gardening Day and I get so excited when the flowers start blooming in our gardens, especially the roses. Rich would talk to his roses every morning and he grew the most gorgeous flowers but his roses were exquisite. When I had the computer hutch in the front room, I made a double shelf on the top using an old mirror and 4 large mason jars filled with decorative pea stones. But when I removed the hutch and painted that room I took the shelves down. Now I had 4 mason jars to come up with an idea for them. I left 3am in the morning on March 31st to head up to Cherokee for Rich’s second anniversary of his passing.
