Tote Bag Pillow

Today’s blog is short and sweet. My daughter gave me a beautiful tote bag for Christmas but it is white! I didn’t what to use it and have it get dirty but I didn’t want to just have it hanging on the door. So I came up with a plan.

I made a tote bag pillow! Quick and simple project, I stuffed the tote bag with filler then pushed the straps inside the bag. I had planned to add velcro to close it but then I had another idea. I looked through my mom’s old jewelry and found the perfect pins to use to close the opening of the bag to make it a pillow. It’s a perfect way to display this beautiful tote bag and unless I tell people, they probably would have no idea it’s actually a tote bag embellished with my mom’s pins.

Have you come up with a way to make something out of something that it isn’t?

So you probably wondered why I posted Wordless Wednesday yesterday, on a Tuesday. I had brain fade and thought yesterday was today! So since this is just one simple photo, it could technically be Wordless Wednesday with lots of words! LOL I’ll try to stay on track for next Wednesday!
