I spent the past two days in the mountains for Spiritual Sunday and went to Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission Catholic church in Cherokee to celebrate Rich’s and my 58th anniversary, as we have done in the past. Mass was Saturday evening and it’s a small church but beautiful. It’s built like an octagon with a gorgeous stained glass wall of Lady Guadalupe behind the alter and the ceiling looks like a huge star. Normally I post Silly Saturday photos or stories but today I’m switching to Smiling Saturday. I’m telling myself I’m okay and will have a wonderful day driving to Cherokee like Rich and I would always do on our anniversary weekend or close to it. Yesterday I wrote about my Market Place finds with the concrete for my garden edging. My neighbor got my hooked on this site and I’ve found some great things to help in my reorganizing the garage.
