Beauty from God

It’s Spiritual Sunday and what better of a day to share some beauty from God. For my birthday last month, my daughter and son-in-law gave me a bird feeder with a camera. It notifies me when a bird lands and then takes a video and still shots. I love all birds but lately the Cardinals have been visiting it daily.
They start early in the morning and I was excited to see both the male and female at the same time.
My neighbor had some sunflower seeds her little birds wouldn’t eat so she gave me the bag. Cardinals love them and you can see the sweet one breaking up the shell with his beak.
Look how vibrant red this male cardinal is!
Mama cardinal took her time eating and it looks like she is looking right in the camera to say hi.

I love all birds but the cardinals are my favorite. When they stop by I know it’s a sign that loved ones will never be forgotten.

Wow, Martha! Awesome videos. The cardinals are so colourful. And you have green grass and blooming flowers!
Thanks Lily, I love how clear the photos and videos are! Our flowers start blooming in mid March, the grass is getting there but the front is even greener.
Oh how fun! My adult daughter has suggested a few times adding a feeder to our back porch. We have a neighborhood hawk named Ethan that make me not want to risk it.
I like how I can go back and check out any videos or pictures I’ve missed when the birds were there Kandas. Thanks cute that you gave your hawk a name!
Looks lie fun. Watching the birds build their lives.
Yes Eydie, it’s exciting to watch them fly in especially when there are two at a time!
First off, belated happy birthday to you, Martha. I love these bird videos that you posted. I’m also a bird lover, and the cardinal is also one of my favorite birds. I also birdwatch occasionally and love it. And yes, “God’s” (Yahweh’s) creations are beautiful and worthy of our appreciation.
Thanks Davwil! Cardinals are my favorite because they are a sign a loved one is thinking of us. God sure created some beautiful creations and definitely worthy of our apprecation.
Those videos are absolutely wonderful. I love watching the cardinal couple visit the bird feeder and chomp on their food. They are so sweet.
That one was my favorite Alice! Just taking his time at the breakfast table! LOL I sent that picture of my friend how gave my the sunflowers seeds.
