I made fried cabbage with bacon and the total cost was about $3.50 for a huge pan full! I started with a head of cabbage and cut it in half. Next I shredded it in thin slices and chopped them in smaller pieces and chopped up a small onion. The cabbage cost $1.29, bacon was on sale for BOGO free so one package cost $4.00.
