Yesterday I wrote about my Market Place finds with the concrete for my garden edging. My neighbor got my hooked on this site and I’ve found some great things to help in my reorganizing the garage. A few weeks ago someone had base kitchen cabinets so my neighbor and I went and checked them out. I was able to get two single door units that fit in my Equinox and then I eyed a narrow one about 8″ wide, probably a filler cabinet by the dishwasher. Judy asked if we

One thing that keeps my mind from going crazy is I gotta stay busy. Last week in my Thoughts blog I shared some pictures of my new borders around the backyard gardens. I got the concrete pieces from an ad on Market Place. About a week before I saw that ad, I purchased some edging blocks for the back of the house. My neighbor still had extra landscaping stones she didn’t want so I hauled them over and between patio blocks from my old grill pad, her stones and the

I’m having a tough time going through the motions, trying to write my blogs and I’m so far behind in replying to the many comments you have all left. Rich and I are supposed to be celebrating our 58th wedding anniversary and his 79th birthday next week. How can I go on after 60 years of being together in love? Everywhere I look I see signs of our love, but I don’t see him. I’m trying to be strong but my world fell apart when God carried Rich home Easter

Since it’s the beginning of the week I thought it would be a good day to start talking trash. Now don’t get your feathers all ruffled, I’m not going to talk about anyone or say bad words. LOL But I will share my new idea to keep my kitchen trash can from getting smelly! LOL As a reminder you know I save just about everything and the latest is saving used ziplock baggies. QUESTION 1 – How many times do you use these bags for cookies or maybe a sandwich

Today is Spiritual Sunday and I’m excited to share photos of our church organ dedication concert. This beautiful organ was designed for Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church and made with love in Pennsylvania. Dr. Jennifer Pascual performed the concert at our church last Sunday evening and she was amazing. She was appointed Director of Music at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City in 2003 and is the first woman to hold this position, one of the most prestigious sacred music appointments in the United States.  https://saintpatrickscathedral.org/people/dr-jennifer-pascual
