Campaigning and Candidates
I’m going out on a limb today and using the suggested topic of “tell your readers what you think of the campaigning of the candidates” as the Mid-Term Elections (this is not a Presidential Election) are coming up.

Ever since Rich and I hit the voting age, we both always made it a point to vote in every National, State, and even Local elections. We would vote as soon as the booths open then proudly wear our “I Voted” sticker to work. One thing I never do is discuss politics with anyone, especially social media.
Since I have pulled the plug on TV, I don’t even listen to the news and don’t have a clue what’s happening in the world. Maybe I should be paying more attention but what good would it do? I can’t change what will happen at the election and I certainly can’t change whoever wins once they get in office.

I will be watching the World Series on the computer though. Rich loved the Dodgers and he always said, “Win or lose, it’s Dodger Blue”.

You’re lucky! Here in Virginia candidates are paying for campaign ads on Youtube. Our money, of course, for the one who wins, which is a big point in favor of the R. The D’s campaign ads have been more hateful, including a big slice of open contempt for BLOGGERS, but the R’s are no treat to listen to, either.
That’s why I can’t listen to any of them Priscilla, my head is on spin cycle still and I don’t need any drama in my life. What happens, happens and I’ll be in my own little world no matter who is in office. On another note, our local candidates can get nasty too!
Love those fans in blue t-shirts. I’ll be rooting for the Blue Jays, though. I was a baseball fan when they were winning. That would be many, many years ago.
Rich always said, win or lose, it’s Dodger blue! For you it’s Blue Jays blue!
