I have had another busy but fun week. The best part of the week was making some gifts for mommy’s 2nd Mother’s Day. This is Mommy’s Mother’s Day Gift for Friday Story Time by Lia. Last year GGmama helped me make a bouquet of flowers from my little handprints for mommy’s first mother’s day gift. Look how tiny I was a year ago! Here is my link to last year’s mothers’ day. http://themarthareview.com/lias-projects-for-mothers-day/ This year I drew my handprints on paper and added a heart shaped picture of mommy and
A song that is a cover from another Artist Today’s prompt for Song of the Day 15 is to come up with a song that is a cover from another artist. A cover artist is someone who records a song that was originally recorded by another artist. On day 11 I wrote about Angels Among Us recorded by Alabama Band, a song that I never get tired off. http://themarthareview.com/song-of-the-day-11/ Today I’m using that same song but Tutti Druyan has recorded Angels Among Us as a cover artist. A song I would have liked played at my wedding It’s time for Song of the Day 14 and I’m totally switching gears for the type of music and songs I like. Sunday was Mother’s Day, Rich and I had a wonderful day with Lia and her mommy and daddy. Lia loves being outside and she has been helping us work on her Reflection garden. Today I’m sharing some of Lia’s Garden Shots for Wordless Wednesday. These photos were taken on Mother’s Day with my Google Pixel 2 XL. Lia is a little ball of energy filled with love and affection. Her smiles are infectious to everyone, I hope she put a smile on your face as well.
Song from the 70’s I like the number 13, never considered it unlucky. So as I came up with a Song from the 70’s for today’s prompt, it brought back memories once again. I’ve always liked folk songs and even though I’ve never been to Colorado I like Rocky Mountain High. This song was written by John Denver and Mike Taylor about Colorado. John Denver first recorded this song in 1972 and became #9 on the US Hot 100 list in 1973. CREDIT: YouTube – Genesis Middlebos This is one
