Last Day of Ultimate Blog Challenge
Last Day of Ultimate Blog Challenge
The beginning of the month I found out about the Ultimate Blog Challenge where the goal was to write a blog everyday for the month of January. Well, I accomplished that goal and while doing so I met so many wonderful bloggers with all different styles of writings. It was so interesting to read their blogs, their inspirational messages, all their helpful ideas, see their beautiful photographs plus much more.
Over the past month, some of my blog stories actually came from other blogs I read. While reading some, they would spark a memory of something in my mind so I would expand in that. I love writing about memories of the past, sharing recipes, money saving tips and re-purposing items that otherwise would go in the trash.
I was introduced to some awesome blog challenges including a few photo challenges which is right up my alley! I am only a hobby photographer but I enjoy sharing them with others. I’m looking forward to a new Garden Photography Challenge which I will start in February.
I was even nominated for the Sunshine Blogger Award. I then passed on the award to 11 other great bloggers.
When of my blogger friends messaged me saying she couldn’t find a “connect me” form on my blog. That’s because I didn’t have one! So I did some searching through the Plugins and found a great one so now I can be connected!

Another cool thing I found was that I could set a schedule to publish my blogs! I have also just been clicking “publish” but realized I could choose a date and time to have them automatically posted. This worked great on the two days I was out of town. I was able to write my articles before I left, and they were published when I was away from internet service. How cool is that!
I have enjoy writing my last 31 blogs, I really can’t choose my favorite one but here are some of the ones I really enjoyed writing.
A poem I wrote when When God Called Mom Home
And off course My Humorous Ending To My Educational Experience
I would like to thank you all that have read and commented on my blogs and even though the Ultimate Blog Challenge is completed for January, my personal goal is to still write at least 4 days a week, if not more. I’m looking forward to the next monthly challenge in April.
Wow! Fiest of all Congragulations !
What a great learning! I made it too!
Thanks Ramya, I so enjoyed this challenge, not only for being able to complete it every day but also for meeting so many new blogger friends. I have enjoyed reading their blogs and learning new things from them. Congrats to you and keep up the great writings! Thanks for stopping by.
You learned a lot in this challenge. That’s the wonderful thing about challenges. You may want to consider the A to Z Blogging Challenge, which also runs in the month of April. It meshes well with the Ultimate Blog Challenge and signups for A to Z have already begun. You will learn a lot from it.
I haven’t heard about the A to Z Challenge, but will definitely want to join! Do you have information as to where to join? I’ve only been blogging a little over a year but have learned so much for others and looking forward to continuing my learning! Thanks for visiting!
With my offline workload I barely have time for one post a week on my blog!
Writing everyday was definitely a challenge with my work schedule both at work and home. But I find if I get off schedule, I won’t get back on. Also, now that I’ve found how to schedule my posts, I can write when I have time or the ideas. Thanks for stopping by!
Hi Martha, I am glad that we were able to connect through the Ultimate Blog Challenge. I hope that you will stay in touch. Lee-Anne
Definitely will stay in touch Lee-Anne! I enjoy your blog and now that I subscribed to it, I won’t miss any now that the challenge is over. Of course, I will still be doing the Weekly Photo Challenge! I’m so glad I met you through this challenge!
Martha, you have a fine heart! I greatly enjoyed being in this blog challenge with you and seeing a sampling of your work. Congrats on reaching the last day of the challenge! How can I subscribe to your Garden Photography posts? I often find my fellow writers have taken photos that will make great quote posters, and I may ask you for permission to use one of your photos for a poster! Please stay in touch, and keep writing and photographing! Blessings–Kebba
