January 2017 Ultimate Blog Challenge Stats

January 2017 Ultimate Blog Challenge Stats

As the saying goes, the party’s over!  Or is it? Just because the January challenge is over, that doesn’t mean you have to close your computer and wait until the next challenge.  Once the blog bug hits, it’s never over! I started doing this challenge in January 2016 and completed all four quarters, writing at least one blog per day. I have compared my views and comments on each challenge and watched the numbers rise from January, April, July and October.  It’s now time for my January 2017 Ultimate Blog Challenge Stats and see where my stats are compared to one year ago.

This is my chart from 2017.  The chart has only 30 views so this is from January 2 through the 30th.

Now to compare my stats from 2016.  Again, since there are only 30 views, this one is from January 1 through the 31st.

January 2016, I had 2493 views on my blog posts and January 2017, I had 2878 views.  That’s an increase of 385 views from all my great readers!

This is a chart from when I started my blog in December 25, 2014.  My grandson helped me start my blog on Christmas Day in 2014 and I was pleased with my total stats for 2015 considering when I started my blog, I really didn’t have a clue about it.  In 2015, my total views were 12,625.  As you can see from the chart, there is a BIG jump in my total stats for 2016.   I had a total views of 24,502 for the year, almost DOUBLE from my first year!  I was very excited and I know I owe a lot to the January, April, July, and October 2016 Ultimate Blog Challenge bloggers.  I met so many bloggers in 2016 and continued to follow them, meeting up again in the next challenge.  Along with those bloggers, I also met many more wonderful bloggers that joined in on the January 2107 challenge.

From January 2015 with 730 views, to January 2016 with 2493 views and now January 2017 with 2878 views, I’m very pleased with how my stats are steadily on the rise.  It’s interesting to keep track of which of my blogs show the most interest and the blog that had the most views for January 2017 with 226 views was Another Coconut Sugar Scrub Recipe. I enjoy making sugar scrubs because it is all natural ingredients and they make great gifts!

This is my latest Lemon Coconut Sugar Scrub, they smell so good!

I owe my grandson a big hug for helping me start my blog, for being there when I hit a snag, giving me “after hours” of Skype lessons and teaching me so much about blogging! Because of all the help CJ has given me, I have been able to pay it forward and help other new bloggers  It’s not like CJ has nothing better to do, he is a model plus co-founder of So Ripe where healthy meals are prepared with ingredients which are locally sourced and organic whenever possible. Clean nutrition is their mission.

The Ripe team works closely with local farms and food distributors to make sure quality, sustainability, and balance to every meal.  They are currently serving Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens where their delicious meals are delivered right to your office!  If you are in this area, you need to check out So Ripe.

I started my blog on Christmas Day 2014 mainly to review products I received. Since then it has evolved into many other categories of lifestyles, family, money saving ideas, low cost, delicious and healthy meals plus other surprise posts. My granddaughter has her own category, Alex's Articles and the latest addition to my blog is my great granddaughter now has her category, Lia's Likings The Baby Blogger! Lia started blogger at 8 months old and she now has a Friday Story Time blog you won't want to miss! I welcome you to join the conversation, ask a question, give a suggestion or leave a comment on any blog post. I hope you enjoy Lia's Likings, she has some great posts that will make you smile!

Thanks Priscilla, I would never be where I am if it wasn’t for all the great people who read my blog! I’m working on a cookbook for my next venture, taking some of the recipes I’ve shared in my blog. Thanks for visiting!
