Wordless Wednesday Gardening
Today I'm sharing my Wordless Wednesday Gardening project. Yesterday's post was about my roses and the beginning of a project I was starting in the front yard where I removed a large pampas grass bush. Last night I worked on this area a bit more. I do things in steps so the project is over whelming and when I can find the resources I need. (Yes this is turning into a Worded Wordless Wednesday!)

These are the photos on yesterday’s blog, what a difference a year makes from when I removed the bush!

Last night was the beginning of my cement rock border. I got these cement pieces last year from someone removing a bulk head and have used them for flower borders in my yard.

I just happened to have two partial bags of mulch to fill in the center.

I did the same thing to the large tree on the side but I had smaller pieces to in the center instead of mulch. Both these trees are crepe myrtles and I trimmed the front one last fall because it was getting too tall. It’s already starting to get little buds on it!

This is the large tree last year, I’m patiently waiting for all the beautiful flowers to bloom!
Thanks to my blogger friend Janice who gave me some ideas to fill in the area around the front tree. She suggested “thyme will flower but the best chamomile cultivar for your conditions is Chamaemelum nobile ‘Treneague’, which doesn’t flower. Hope this helps.” Thank you so much for the suggestions! As usually I have to add a bit of humor to my posts. She suggested “thyme” and in “time” I will being working on my next step.

I was gonna say, ‘There are a lot of words for Wordless Wednesday,’ but I do appreciate the commentary.
Sometimes my Wordless Wednesday is just that Iku, but other times my brain goes in overdrive. LOL
You are so energetic, Martha. The blooms on the large tree look like lilacs.
Yes Lily, I’ve said that from the first time I saw them. The are so fragrant also.
Dividing projects into small bites is the way to go! Love your blooming tree, so pretty!
Definitely is the way to go Tamara. This is how I do my reorganizing and decluttering also. Take a little at a time and it seems to get down much quicker.
