The End of the July 2026 UBC

Today is the end of the July 2026 UBC. How did you do, were you able to write a blog each day of the month? For me this month has been a bit of a struggle but I managed to complete 31 blogs with help from my great-granddaughter Lia and Snowball. 43 blogs down and 7 to reach my goal of 80 before I turn 80 years old. I’m hoping I can keep going until the April 2028 challenge.

As always for the end of the UBC challenge I am sharing a poem I wrote years ago to close out the month. Until we see you again in October, BLOG ON!!

Happy Heavenly 80th Birthday

I have been in Cherokee North Carolina for the past two days celebrating the memories of our 59th wedding anniversary. Since I started getting tattoos around our anniversary in 2024, this trip was no different. This silly little face has been Rich’s trademark for years. He would add it to his handmade notes and cards he made for me and would also make a tiny face on the corner of fabrics when we were cutting window treatments to mark the right side of the fabric. He never had a name, do you have any suggestions?

Wednesday was our anniversary and today is Rich’s birthday. Happy Heavenly 80th Birthday babe!
