Ultimate Blog Challenge Has Been Completed!
Today is October 31st and do you know what that means? You are probably thinking Halloween but I’m thinking it’s the last day of the October Ultimate Blog Challenge! I completed the challenge by writing at least one blog per day for the month and this is the 4th challenge I participated in and completed this year. It was so much fun, some days I had topics already chosen while other days I took the suggested topic from the UBC host. So I can officially say the 4th quarter of the Ultimate Blog Challenge has been completed!
But writing the daily posts wasn’t the only exciting part of this challenge, it was also great to meet so many other wonderful bloggers in the challenge. Some I have known from previous Ultimate Blog Challenges but I always look forward to meeting bloggers that have just come across this challenge.
I had a good month with over 2000 views and many comments left by my blog readers. Thank you all for viewing, sharing and commenting on my blogs!
I enjoy checking my stats, checking which blogs are the most popular and which blogs get the most comments.
My top 5 of the month are:
This blog was the 4th chapter of my granddaughter’s surgery finally being scheduled and had 111 views.
The 2nd most popular blog was when I wrote about my grandchildren’s milestones and this had 65 views.
October was the month when Hurricane Matthew went through our area and my blog about the devastation even before the hurricane had 63 views.
The 4th top blog I wrote for the month was about being prepared for a hurricane and this blog received 54 views.
Keeping with the hurricane theme, my 5th top post was being faced with adversity. This blog received 53 views.

Congratulations! I have completed the challenge, too! Usually, I miss one or two days! This time, I finished the entire challenge. I too alternated between using the blogging suggestions and coming up with my own ideas. I am very grateful to my readers. They are all awesome. I’ve been doing this challenge for, I think, at least two years. It’s a great experience and the hosts do a fabulous job. Looking forward to the next one, and I hope that you will participate.

It’s been a month! I started a new blog in the middle of the challenge, so tried to share posts from both. Unfortunately, I lost everything on one of the blogs because of the hacker assault on the internet. Thankfully I was able to restore all. It was a challenge to post every day, but got me back into the ‘groove’. I hadn’t blogged for quite some time , before the challenge.
One of the things I enjoyed as well, was meeting people like you, Martha. You’re a great lady. Hugs.
