Snowball’s New Pillow

I want to show you Snowball’s new pillow I made for him today with ma’s help for my Friday Storytime By Lia! First I found a nice blue fabric ma had and I cut it to the right width. All I had to do was flip the fabric in half and pin the edges together for starters.

The next step is to start sewing the seams after I turn on the sewing machine. I have to be very careful when sewing and not run over the pins. Just before we get to the pins, I pull them out.

After I finished sewing the seams, I had to turn the pillow fabric to the right side. It was a bit tricky trying to get the fabric out from the corners but I did it! Then I stuffed a pillow in the new cover and stitched the end shut.

Snowball’s new pillow is done except for the fluffing! Of course I had to try it out before giving it to Snowball.

Snowball was so excited when I showed him his new pillow! He went right over to it, smelled it and went around in circles before he settled down on it. I think if he could talk Snowball would say, “I love my new pillow, thank you so much Lia!”

I’ve had such a busy Friday Story Time by Lia day, I almost didn’t think I would have time to write my story because I also made ma some delicious left over lasagna! I added sauce and topped it with extra cheese and ma said it was delicious!

I hope you all had a great day and have a fun weekend. I’ll see you next week for Friday Story Time by Lia!

I love Snowballs pillow. You did a great job making it. It looks comfortable. You could start selling doggie pillows. I know, my Bella loves her pillow.

Wow Lia, that is very impressive. I am not a seamstress at all, but you made it look easy 🙂 Thanks for sharing and it looks like both you and Snowball really like the new pillow. Keep up the good work. Enjoy seeing all your creations.
