Shopping and Baking
It’s Friday Story Time by Lia and I’m getting ready for another Lia’s Sunshine Bakery Alzheimer’s Fundraiser bake sale tomorrow at our community annual garage sale! I’ve been shopping and baking for my big sale.
The Food Lion in Little River gave me a Gift Card to purchase ingredients for my baking and last week I went shopping. Ma and I will be baking a variety of cookies, brownies, fudge and I’ll attempt to make cake pops in ice cream cones!
I got to the register and emptied my cart and when the cashier told me the total I even swiped the card all by myself. I loaded to bags in my cart and ma and I went out to the car. I love shopping with mommy or ma and this time I went shopping just like a grown up and got the items needed all by myself!
My Lia’s Sunshine Bakery has gone to the dogs with our new addition of doggy biscuits. You can take your pick from Peanut Butter or Sweet Potato biscuits, our latest products we added to our fundraiser bake sale. Snowball loves both varieties!
Look at the delicious Blueberry Muffins that are cooling, ma had to try one before packaging the others up.
Today after school I’ll be making cookies and brownies. My favorite is our Italian drop cookies and we already have orders for chocolate chip cookies and brownies. So I’ll be busy this afternoon getting everything ready for the Alzheimer’s Fundraiser bake sale!
The weather doesn’t look to promising for Saturday morning but hopefully the rain will hold off until later in the day. I’ll be back next week for another Friday Story Time by Lia!

She loves baking Danwil! Some are from recipes, others she just adds ingredients and makes her own recipe concoction.
Some great shopping and those Baking adventures are getting better and better. The Sunshine Bakery is perfectly named
