Sharing our Anniversary on Wordless Wednesday

Today I’m sharing our anniversary on Wordless Wednesday. 59 years ago today on July 29, 1967 I married the love of my life who I met on a blind date on Christmas day 1965. I was 16, Rich was 19 and it was love at first sight for both of us. Today is the third anniversary I am sharing without him here physically but he lives forever in my heart.

Renewal of vows on our 25th anniversary

50th anniversary renewal of vows

Every year on or near our anniversary, I make a memorial boat with flowers and other natural items and sail it down the river in Cherokee where Rich and I would always visit.

The angel wings was the first ever tattoo I got in memory of Rich on our anniversary in 2024. I had the rose and stem added Christmas 2024. This is a photograph of one of Rich’s roses. My arms are now filled with memory tattoos
This is my True Love is Forever Strong story I wrote back in 2012, after our 45th wedding anniversary. I added a few additions after we celebrated our 50th anniversary in 2017 with the renewal of our marriage vows in the same church we go married in. http://themarthareview.com/true-love-is-forever-strong/ And the memories live on in my heart always and forever until we meet again.

Babe you are forever in my heart, Happy 59th Anniversary.
