Polar Bear Plunge for Silly Saturday
Our community pool opened yesterday and as the homeowners were stopping by to pick up their new key cards on Thursday evening I made a joke about jumping into the pool at 7:30am. After seeing the photos that our photographer and videographer took I know they were perfect to our 1st annual Polar Bear Plunge for Silly Saturday.
We had about 6 or 7 that said they would go for it but come 7:30 on Friday morning most chickened out and we only had three so I dubbed us the Golden Girls! LOL Jean just turned 89, I turned 77 last month and Deb the “baby” of the bunch is 56.
WE DID IT and the water wasn’t really that cold because the air temp made our bodies feel colder! Thanks to our photographer and videographer neighbors for filming our first ever Polar Bear Plunge for Silly Saturday. I hope it made you giggle!
My church angels gave me this Comfy for my Christmas and that with hot cocoa was the perfect ending to my silly morning!
