The United States celebrates Independence Day on July 4th because that’s the day back in 1776 when the Declaration of Independence was adopted. The United States was free from the Kingdom of Great Britain and became the United States of America. Some people fly the flag only on special holidays, but our American flag (made in America) flies everyday! Today I’m sharing some photos of my Wordless Wednesday window birds! Alexandra and Lia give me this window bird feeder last year, I think for Mother’s Day, but could have been my birthday. It took the birds almost 6 months before they eventually came to the feeder. We are already in the third quarter of 2024 UBC. I did manage to get through all the replies to the comments left from the April Challenge but it seemed to take me forever. I’m hoping I will be a bit more on track this month but I’m not making any promises.
