FREEZING SUMMER SQUASH I love summer squash and no matter how many I have, freezing summer squash is so easy. It’s quick and easy and ready to cook up at any time. All you need is squash, a knife for slicing, a baking pan and a freezer bag. I wash the squash and cut in thin slices. Next I lay the squash slices on a baking pan and freeze for about 30 minutes.
