Today’s color of the day is Fucshia. Fucshia colorway is a vivid purplish red color. This color was named after the color of the flower on the fucshia plant. As with most colors, fucshia as many variations from French Fucshia, Fucshia Rose, Red-Purple, Deep Fucshia and Fucshia Purple to name some of the different shades. Every Tuesday evening the Ice Cream Truck comes though our neighborhood with the music playing and neighbors, young and old, running to the end of their driveway like waiting for the school bus. Today for the Color Challenge the Color of the Day is GREY…..or is it GRAY? Way back when I learned my colors from my crayon box I was taught that the spelling was GRAY but on the Challenge sheet it’s GREY. I did a little research and found when using this word as in color there are two acceptable spellings. GRAY is used mostly in the United States and other areas that use US English.
