I’m so excited for today’s Friday Story Time by Lia. About 3 weeks ago GGpapa and mama started making a garden in the corner of the backyard. They planted flowers that were growing in other parts of the yard and added some little butterfly decorations, an angel and a water fountain. Mama even found an old bench at the recycling center and papa painted in white. This is my story about Lia’s Reflection Garden Chapter 2. If you missed the beginning, here’s the link: http://themarthareview.com/lias-reflection-garden/ Well after three weeks you

Are you ready to move forward? For Song of the Day 22, the prompt is to come up with a song that moves you forward. What better song to move me forward than a song about driving! I’ve mentioned previously in the challenge that I am an Alabama Band fan, have been since they started their career back in the 70’s in The Bowery in Myrtle Beach playing for tips. http://themarthareview.com/alabama-band-history/ Well a song that moves me forward is Roll On (Eighteen Wheeler) recorded by Alabama January 1984. Song that has a person’s name in the title As we enter the Song of the Day 21, I had picked out a song that has a person’s name in the title but I used that for a song about school on Day 8. That song was Charlie Brown by the Coasters. So I had a few others in mind but when I checked online, I found one with my name in the title! Of course I had to pick this song! I wasn’t a Beatle fan during their time

Today I’m sharing my backyard bird sanctuary for Wordless Wednesday (with words!). I sit in our family room looking out at the birds and it’s so relaxing and fun watching them fly from feeder to feeder. These pictures were taken through the glass door so they aren’t super quality but I love sharing nature. We have had so many cardinals in the yard lately, they are sending down love from my mom and dad. Yesterday there was a male and female sitting on the barn feeder but I wasn’t quick

A song that has many meanings to me For A Song of the Day 20, the topic a song that has many meanings to me was one that made me scratch my head. What does that mean, does it mean the words in the song can have different meanings or the song itself has many meanings? I’m going with the song Remember When, recorded by Alan Jackson in 2002. This song is actually an autobiography of Alan’s up and downs in their relationship as a tribute to his wife. Remember
