I’m all for coming up with quick and easy meals. If they are from leftovers it’s even better because I can come up with something different from the leftovers. Here are a few of my creations. I don’t care for bread that much but I love a BLT. This is my bacon and tomato sandwich wrapped with lettuce. I add cheese to these too! A very tasty BLT! We had breaded chicken fingers for dinner a week ago. There were three chicken fingers left over, not enough for another meal…..or
For Wordless Wednesday – taking a peek at friends are photos that will melt your heart. From the first time they met when Carlos was a year old and Lia was 4 months old, they became friends and now two years later they are so excited when they see each other. It was a long 6 months when all they could do was wave to each other across the street, not knowing why they couldn’t play with each other. But on Lia’s birthday party they were reunited and so happy

My hubby loves stuffed peppers and when our peppers are ready from the garden, I pick a pepper and I make stuffed peppers fresh from the garden. This year after our vegetables were done producing Rich cleaned up all the plants to get ready for a fall planting. The only plants he left were three pepper plants that had a few small peppers on them still. Everytime Lia checked the garden she would pick all the small peppers. They were perfect to cut into quarters and freeze for future meals.
There’s nothing more fun than a scavenger hunt unless it’s TWO scavenger hunts! That’s just what we did the other day when we went hiking at Veeren’s Gardens. This is a beautiful area that has long wooden walkways over the marsh to get to the intercoastal waterway and lots of hiking trails. It was perfect weather for our fun scavenger hunts on our hike. My FB friend had sent me information on a Paint Chip Hike and we turned it into a Paint Chip Scavenger Hunt for Lia’s birthday party.
