Besides coloring, Lia learns her colors with crayons. Ever time she picks up a crayon she says what color it is. Lia loves crayons and would love to win this contest so she can continue to draw pretty pictures!
I do recall that the crayons helped the kids learn colors. Thanks for the memories.
I remember when I was young, there was a Prussia blue in my Crayola box. I don’t think they make that color anymore but it was always my favorite! Ah the memories that come back when writing blogs Roy.
You never show us any of your artwork. I am sure you pick up a crayon or two while enjoying watching her. I am working in acrylics now that I am back to enjoying the lockdown, and it s so enjoyable.
You wouldn’t want to see my artwork Chef William. The most I do is make a Mickey Mouse face and ears. LOL I guess I could consider the window treatments I designed and fabricated artwork though. Hubby and I had our interior decorating business for 53 years before semi-retiring in the fall of 2018. This blog has some of my drapery artwork. http://themarthareview.com/mar-cs-interior-decorating-nominated-best-designerdecorator-again/ Thanks for visiting, would love to see some of your acrylics.
Happy National Crayon Day.
Thanks Amanda. I need to get Lia new crayons soon, the ones she’s using are 24 years old, they were her mommy’s!
I have always loved coloring – still, today! I oftentimes use crayons as one of the early layers of my art journaling processes. These little ones are positively adorable, too.
I remember when I was growing up crayons were my favorite way to color Julie. I think they will be around forever.
