My Trip to Knoxville with Lia
I hope you all had a great weekend, I want to tell you about my trip to Knoxville with Lia. Oh by the way this is Snowball and I love going for car rides and was excited when mom said I could go on the seven hour ride from Lia’s dad’s house to Knoxville to meet her mom.

Mom and I got ready early Saturday morning and drove to dad’s house, When we got out of mom’s car, I ran to the door and heard Lia and dad talking and couldn’t wait to see her for the last day of a month’s vacation.

People think I’m funny but look at Lia! She was taking selfies and she was upside down on this picture. I don’t know how Lia snapped this picture at the perfect time, but see my tongue, it’s heart shaped!

The trip was going good then Lia was getting hungry so dad started looking for signs for an Arby’s since Lia loves their ham and swiss cheese sandwich. It wasn’t long and we found one! I watched as mom opened her roast beef sandwich and I was so glad she asked me if I wanted some.

When she asked me if I wanted some, I thought she meant, take a bite so that’s just what I did. I chomped on her sandwich and pulled a huge corner off! It was so good but she didn’t give me any more!
Mom always has her phone ready for pictures or videos and she got a great one of me taking a bite of her sandwich. I don’t know why Lia and mom were laughing so hard, she asked me if I wanted some, did she think I would say no?
After about 7 hours we pulled in to our meeting spot and a few minutes later Lia’s mom pulled in. We shared lots of hugs and kisses until Lia comes to visit again. I’m going to miss Lia so much, she took me to the ocean, on walks, and gave me lots of love the month she was here. I watched as Lia was waving to me as she headed back to Indiana with her mom and then her dad and us to take another 7 hours to get back to South Carolina.

Just before Lia left she gave me another big hug and then turned it into a pencil drawing, she is so clever! Well this is my last blog I’ll be doing for the July UBC. I’m sure I’ll find some exciting things to do between now and the October challenge. Maybe I’ll get to have another Arby’s sandwich!

Snowball is an absolute dream – what a cutie!
He is the best Alice. Snowball loves riding in the car and when anyone mentions food he is right there! LOL
Lia and Snowball are cuties. Breaking up a seven-hour drive with an Arby’s break. Love the photos and hearing the memories.
Thanks Lisa, both Lia and Snowball are excellent riders on long hauls. It was so funny when I asked Snowball if he wanted to eat and without hesitation he grabbed my sandwich! LOL
That’s a long car ride. I’m sure snowball is really going to miss Lia, as you all will. How could you not? Look at that smile?
Lia loves Snowball as much as Snowball loves her. Hopefully I’ll be making a trip to Indiana soon.
Snowball I love your blogs. I love those kinds of sandwiches too. Glad you guys had a nice trip.
It was so funny when Snowball chomped into my sandwich Ananda! LOL
Martha, that was fun. And now we know Lia likes Arby’s ham/cheese sandwiches. Yummm! So are you saying you won’t be posting here Tu-Wed-Thurs-Fri? We’ll miss you!
Lia was so excited when they added the ham and cheese sandwiches to Arby’s menu Kebba. I’ll still be posting, leaving tomorrow around 3am and I post before I go. Haven’t writing a Thursday blog yet but I’ll get one! Then I’ll be home to write Fridays. I might be a be delayed on reading the others since internet is sketchy in the mountains.
Well, I must say, Snowball, you are quite some blogger. I didn’t realize that you were a great storyteller and sandwich eater! Both at the same time. You have taken multitasking to a new level!
LOL Snowball is a one of a kind pup Alice. I like adding “his” blogs now and then. We all can use a few laughs.
