Mommy’s Birthday Surprise

Glad you are back to visit my Friday Story Time by Lia! My mommy’s birthday was last week and wait until you see what I made for mommy’s birthday surprise. Of course I had a little help with GGmama but we have so much fun doing projects together!

The first thing I did was put my craft shirt on while GGmama was getting all the supplies needed. I got ready to make a picture! We got some more paint in my favorite colors so I used pink and purple paint for my feet and handprint project.

Did you ever get paint between your toes? It feels so squishy! Papa steadied me on the table while mama painted the bottom of my foot! Next I stood on a piece of paper and there was my footprint! I did the same thing with my other foot and my feet turned into a butterfly!

Oh this is going to be so fun, now mama is painting my hand and I pressed that on the paper! She helped me add green paint around my handprint and turned it into a flower! How cool is that! While the paint was still wet, I sprinkled glitter on my feet and hand prints!

After the paint dried I added some pink dots to my butterfly wings. It’s looking so pretty now!

OH BUT WAIT!!! See this green right here by my finger? My paintbrush slipped and I got a little green paint on the paper and then a few pink dots slipped off the wings. But mama knew what to do, she said we can turn them into little flowers! I added some green leaves and another pink dot so now I have a flower garden for the butterfly!

Mommy’s birthday surprise is all done and I think it is beautiful!

I even made mommy a card by putting some stickers on a piece of paper. I’m glad mama saves so much stuff, she has a drawer full of stickers!

We went out to dinner on mommy’s birthday and when she opened her present she was so surprised and excited! I had such a fun time making the butterfly and flower with my hand and footprints and mommy loved my masterpiece. Happy Birthday mommy, I love you!!

So I’ve had a very busy week between working on mommy’s birthday surprise and then GGmama’s birthday was yesterday! I painted a picture for mama all by myself but mommy steadied my hand when I wrote the letters. I made two paintings in the past week and was mama surprised when I gave her the birthday painting I made!

Thanks for visiting my Friday Story Time blog again this week, I hope you liked how colorful my pictures are! See you next time for another exciting blog by Lia the Baby Blogger.

thank you for sharing this. I want to create something like this for my daughter with Caiden. Hopefully, I can pull it off in April (once I get the all-clear to be around him/them from the doctors). She has a wedding in the Houston area, so I am supposed to be on Nonnie duty.

That will be a perfect time to pull this off…
