Laptop Cooling Pad

I use my laptop everyday for at least 6 hours a day without shutting it down.  As I was in the middle of a project or writing, my laptop would shut down without warning because it would over heat.  I had another Laptop Cooling Pad but it didn’t work like it was suppose to.  Well I can tell you the E-Prance cooling pad is excellent!  Since I have been using this product for over a month, my laptop has not shut down unexpectedly, not once!

There are two height positions, one is a few inches angled from the back to the front.  It’s easy to pull out the back legs to raise the cooling pad and pop up the front wings to keep the laptop from sliding off when using in the incline position.

The other way is keeping it flat which is how I use it because my laptop desk is already inclined.

This unit has four fans, each 125mm that spin at 1200 RPM, that have two switches so you can run all four at the same time or flip the switch on the back of the pad if you only need two fans.  Each switch can also control the speed of the fans, cutting it down if you don’t need it at full speed.

It comes with a braided USB to plug into the back of the pad and the other end into your laptop.  If traveling, there is an area on the bottom of the cooling pad to wrap the cord around so you always have it with you.

As soon as the laptop is on, the fans start immediately.  The top of the fans are covered in metal mesh of super airflow and the blue LED lights shine through the mesh. When I first started using it, I had to keep checking whether it was on since it runs so quiet.     I have a 17″ Dell  Inspiron and the laptop cooling pad can accommodate up to this size without any problem.   The entire cooling pad is only about an inch thick, lightweight but sturdy when my laptop is sitting on it.

I am very pleased with the quality, the construction and how quiet the fans run on the E-Prance laptop cooling pad.  I received this product in exchange for my honest review and I would highly recommend it to keep your laptop cool and no worries of having it shut off unexpectedly.

Laptops do get very hot! I have a USB fan which simply plugs into a spare USB socket. It is very small and cost me less than $5 but does an excellent job of keeping my laptop cool!
