Green tea has a different look, taste and aroma than black tea has. It’s a green powder and you only need 1/2 teaspoon per cup. When I made my first cup, I used the 1/2 teaspoon but it seemed quite strong but delicious. My next cup, I cut it back to slightly under 1/2 teaspoon and it was perfect.

I added hot water to the powder and it mixed up well, but then I used my frother, all the powder was totally disolved and it had a nice frothy topping. I tried the tea without adding milk but I did add a small amount of lemon juice to my second cup.

iMaccha Tea Company’s Kiwami maccha green tea has such a unique taste, I can’t really describe it other than refreshing, relaxing and delicous. I received this product in exchange for my honest and unbiased review and all opinions are my own.

Along with the package of tea, I also received a beautiful little oragami crane. Oragami is a Japanese art of paper folding and it was total surprise to receive the beautiful work of art.
