July 2018 Ultimate Blog Challenge

July 2018 Ultimate Blog Challenge

The July UBC

Is starting today!

Put your thinking caps on,

Start writing away!!

Are you as excited as I am to join in on the July 2018 Ultimate Blog Challenge for 2018?  It seems like we just finished the April Challenge and now Paul is hosting the third Challenge of the year.  I’m looking forward to reconnecting with the previous Ultimate Blog Challenge members and meeting new ones that are just joining in!   If you haven’t checked this out, here is a link to the site:  https://ultimateblogchallenge.com/

So what have you been up to since the April challenge, did you continue to write a blog every day, a few days a week or even a few a month? I was only able to write a blog a week in the off months, but at least I was able to find time for that.  I seem to slack off on non challenge months because of my busy schedule but I look forward to the challenge because it gives me a reason to write a blog each day.  I’m always up for a challenge and once I start any challenge, I have it in me to complete it!

One of my favorite blogs I wrote for the April Challenge was http://themarthareview.com/baby-gender-reveal/ when mommy and daddy to be found out the gender of their baby.   After finding out they are having a Princess, I kept asking for a name.

*******
They had a name picked out but didn’t want to reveal it until Father’s Day, when they gave a beautiful heart puzzle to Alexandra’s grandfather, better known as “Pop”.  http://themarthareview.com/nine-week-countdown

Another blog I wrote in between the April and July challenges was written on June 22 about the happenings that started three years ago on June 22, 2015.  Once again, some of you may need to have the kleenex on hand for this one. http://themarthareview.com/ill-be-back-before-christmas/   But it does have a happy ending!

One blog down, only thirty to go for the July 2018 Ultimate Blog Challenge!!

I started my blog on Christmas Day 2014 mainly to review products I received. Since then it has evolved into many other categories of lifestyles, family, money saving ideas, low cost, delicious and healthy meals plus other surprise posts. My granddaughter has her own category, Alex's Articles and the latest addition to my blog is my great granddaughter now has her category, Lia's Likings The Baby Blogger! Lia started blogger at 8 months old and she now has a Friday Story Time blog you won't want to miss! I welcome you to join the conversation, ask a question, give a suggestion or leave a comment on any blog post. I hope you enjoy Lia's Likings, she has some great posts that will make you smile!

I am not sure I am ready for it! LOL! I have a pretty full schedule this month, so the “Challenge” is just that.

    Hi Martha!

I didn’t join for April, but January I was in. Don’t know if I’ll be able to do the daily one, but at least I’ve started. My subjects will be on personal growth, loving yourself and daring to be beautiful. 🙂

    • Martha says:

So glad you joined in again Stella! I love your subjects and look forward to following your blog. While I have completed all the challenges I’ve been in since January 2016, some have been a struggle. We just gotta do what we can, at least we are giving it our all! Blog on!!

I have kept blogging, despite various challenges in my life. But, strangely, the badge for the Challenge has gone missing from my blog. I wonder how that happened? I hope it isn’t an omen. Happy to see you back, Martha!

    • Martha says:

Mine has disappeared also Alana! I wonder if it had something to do with the new website from UBC. But glad to see you back and looking forward to writing and ready 30 more this month!

  8. Jen says:

I’m excited for the challenge too! In the middle of April, I hurt my back. I managed to finish the April challenge, though. But then? Well… Let’s just say I didn’t post much of anything between now and then. I made a few half-hearted attempts, but it’s difficult to blog when I can’t sit at the computer. I could use an app on my phone, but I didn’t feel like I really had anything to say during that time, either. I’m much better now and ready to get going!

    • Martha says:

Awww, sorry to hear about your back Jen, glad you are feeling better, congrats on finishing April even in pain. I didn’t post much between the last challenge either, but hoping to go full force again for this challenge month. Let’s do this challenge together!!

  9. Hi Martha. I have not been updating my blog lately as I should have been doing. But, I a trying to get back on track and add some new content. This blog challenge will help me get a bit of inspiration. I see you’ve been doing these challenges for a while now, I will try to stay on track and finish and not quit before I get started. You can do it Celestial! Sometimes it seems overwhelming and I have a road block on ideas but the daily suggestions help out. I so enjoy this challenge as it inspires me also! Let’s blog on together!
