It’s Time for the July Ultimate Blog Challenge

Have you ever waited and waited for something to arrive? Well I’ve been waiting for three months for this day, it’s JULY FIRST!!!. That means it’s time for the July Ultimate Blog Challenge once again!!! I am so excited when the challenge starts every January, April, July, and October. The challenge is to write a blog everyday for the challenge month. Are you up to it, can you do it? Sure you can!!

This blog challenge is hosted by Paul Taubman who shares his blogs on Digital Maestro. I like how Paul sends out a daily reminder along with a suggested blog topic plus he even offers free training classes during the month. I usually have my blogs figured out but there are times when I certainly can use a suggestion!

I look forward to this challenge not only to write blogs but to reconnect with past members AND meet new bloggers who are joining in on the fun. I enjoy reading and learning from the other bloggers.

I stumbled onto the Ultimate Blog Challenge in January 2016 and I have participated and completed every challenge since then. This will be my 19th Ultimate Blog Challenge.

For those that know me, WELCOME BACK TO THIS AWESOME CHALLENGE!! For those that I haven’t met yet, I LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU AND READING YOUR BLOGS!!!

I started my blog on Christmas Day 2015 mainly for product reviews but that quickly turned into so many more categories. I don’t have a niche per say but I do share many posts on healthy eating, gardening, family and money saving tips. You might say my niche is family and life. This is one of my favorite blogs…http://themarthareview.com/moms-memory-garden/

The one category I’m excited about is my great granddaughter who blogs about product reviews but the best is her Friday Story Time by Lia. Lia is 22 months old and started blogging when she was about 6 months old. You can visit her category to see her fun blogs but mostly her infectious smile and the love she shares. http://themarthareview.com/category/lias-likings-the-baby-blogger/

This is Lia’s intro blog from March 2019 http://themarthareview.com/lias-likings-the-baby-blogger-introduction/

Fast forward to a little over a year and Lia is now sharing exciting adventures, gardening and lots of delicious recipes. This is a blog about our neighbor who was moving to assisted living. Ruth has been in Lia’s life since she was born and both will miss each other. http://themarthareview.com/good-bye-ruthie/

Tomorrow I will share the excitement I’ve had since the April Ultimate Blog Challenge. I had a goal I was hoping to reach during this challenge, stay tuned for that too! I’ll be writing about my stats and some favorite blogs I’ve written since the April UBC. So get ready, get set and gooooooooooo, it’s time for the July Ultimate Blog Challenge!!

I started my blog on Christmas Day 2014 mainly to review products I received. Since then it has evolved into many other categories of lifestyles, family, money saving ideas, low cost, delicious and healthy meals plus other surprise posts. My granddaughter has her own category, Alex's Articles and the latest addition to my blog is my great granddaughter now has her category, Lia's Likings The Baby Blogger! Lia started blogger at 8 months old and she now has a Friday Story Time blog you won't want to miss! I welcome you to join the conversation, ask a question, give a suggestion or leave a comment on any blog post. I hope you enjoy Lia's Likings, she has some great posts that will make you smile!

Wow! 19 blog challenges is very impressive. I’ve not completed a full one myself but often jump in and love to share as well as make new connections. I’ve loved following you over the years. I’m looking forward to your posts during this challenge!

    • Martha says:

Hi Shelly, I’m happy to see you in the challenge again. Even if someone can’t write everyday, it’s fun to see where the challenge takes us. I love it because of meeting new bloggers!

    Hi, nice to meet you.
Love the picture of your garden! Your granddaughter is totally adorable!

Nice meeting you too Nancy! When I joined the challenge in 2016 I never thought I would love it so much. But when I see a challenge I jump on it! Looking forward to following your challenge blogs!

  6. Great recap and introduction, Martha!

    • Martha says:

Thanks Roy! I have a few more surprise blogs to post. We are back at the challenge again! I don’t remember which blog year I first met you but I think we go way back!

  7. Looking forward to your posts – looks quite varied.

    • Martha says:

Yes, I can’t narrow my blog to one niche Virginia, I’m too much mind wanderer and write whatever pops in my head. Mostly though I love writing stories with Lia!

  8. You are quite the Ultimate Blog Challenge veteran! I don’t have a niche with my blog, either. I started out with one, but it has meandered and rambled since then 🙂

    • Martha says:

Hi Dyanne, nice to meet you! I live for a challenge! LOL For me I ramble too much for a niche! LOL Hope you enjoy the challenge.

  9. Regina Wiley says:

Enjoyed your entry. Was odd the subscribe and adds popped up right on top or your blog. Looking forward to reading more.

    • Martha says:

Hi Regina, I’m not sure why that happens to some. I think it may be the font size of your computer is too large so the screen messes up. Enjoy the challenge!

  10. vidya says:

This is going to be a breeze for you.. you have been posting almost daily since the last UBC anyway with the song a day and the color a day challenges.. 🙂
Looking forward to your (and of course, Lia’s) posts and interacting with UBCers as always again

    • Martha says:

Yes Lia and I have been blogging away Vidya! We’ve posted over 40 each month since the April Challenge ended. Lia has a list of blogs to write, she is such a little social butterfly with her baking and gardening projects! I’m excited to see so many newbies, hope they enjoy the challenge as much as you and I do!

  11. Tanya says:

Okay Lia is adorable! Love!!! Looking forward to your blogs!!!!

  12. Glenda Cates says:

19 challenges. That is amazing. I am so happy to visit this morning and I love Lia but you forgot her lovely mom blogs at times as well. All we need is to get Rch in and it would be a true family affair but like David I can’t see that happening.

    • Martha says:

Thanks Glenda, I love the Ultimate Blog Challenge and looking forward to my 5 year celebration the end of July! Mom has slowed down on her blogging, got to get her in gear again. LOL Actually Rich gives input on many of my blogs but he prefers to “work behind the scene.”

  13. Chef William says:

And yes, here we go again but really I do not feel that we ever disconnected over the past few months as you blogged about your little chef/baker that is always there to help you in the kitchen. Lets enjoy the challenge and see how many new friends we meet during the month

    • Martha says:

I have so enjoyed following your blog and FB site even between the challenge months! I love so many of your KETO recipes and Lia loves to help me try them. As you know she loves baking and who knows maybe someday she will become a chef also! I’m happy to see so many newbies this time around! I’ll be waiting for your delicious recipes Chef William!
