HAPPY GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY MY LOVE
This is a poem I wrote for our special day, HAPPY GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY MY LOVE.
A young girl and guy,
Met on a blind date.
It was love at first sight,
The ring cannot wait.
A wedding was planned,
The date had been set.
A year and a half
From when they first met.
It’s been 50 years
Their love is still strong.
Together forever
It doesn’t seem that long.
Today is their day,
50 years have gone by.
As their vows are renewed,
Happy tears she will cry.
On July 29, 1967 I married the love of my life and now today on July 29, 2017 we are celebrating 50 beautiful years of marriage. On Christmas day 2015, we celebrated 50 years from when we met on a blind date. Throughout the years, I had jotted down memories and on our 50th anniversary from when we met, I turned the memories into my story. I hope you enjoy reading about our TRUE LOVE IS FOREVER STRONG

Thank you Glenda, our day was beautiful. We had 5 generations, from my hubby’s 99 year old mom down to her Great great grandson. Must a wonderful 50th anniversary!

I feel that hug Abhinav! We have had a strong bond since day one when we met. It was on 18, Rich was 20 and some said it would need last. We fools them! LOL. But to make a marriage work, both have to give and take and work together. We’re looking forward to our 75!
