This is the second month I have participated in the Garden Photography Challenge I found from another blog, Small Blue Green Flowers.  Each month the challenge has a different theme and it so exciting to come up with photos for the challenge.  The theme will change on the first Sunday of each month. You are invited to join in by posting one or more of your own photographs within the month that fit into the theme and either add a link  in your post to mine so I can see your beautiful photos.  I have a link at the end of my blog if you want to join in on the challenge and add the Tag #GardenChallenge  so others can find yours.

The February Challenge was Monocrome and here is my blog link if you missed it:

Now on to the March  Challenge which is:

Wild life in the garden – insects, birds, rabbits, hedgehog, snakes or whatever you may find in your garden.

bluebird2

We have a variety of fur and feathered visitors to our back yard and garden.  This is a shot of a male and female bluebird getting ready to build a nest.

bluejayflying

This is one of my favorite bird photos with the blue jay making a landing into our flower garden. I had to grab my camera quick for this shot.

bunny2

Of course no garden would be complete without a little bunny checking out the leafy vegetables.  I love how big his eyes are.

The ladybug is not only colorful but it’s also a good friend to have in your garden to eat the bugs that eat some of the garden leaves.   This ladybug was sitting on our rose leaf.

coon42214

This raccoon is hanging around on one of our bird feeders.  I captured this photo has he was trying to get a snack.

WSBC0010

I caught this critter on an evening stroll in the back yard.

fox

I was surprised one afternoon when I looked out in the backyard and saw this fox standing on the fence just checking things out.  I love all the birds and wildlife we have in our yard as long as they don’t eat all the vegetables and flowers in our garden!

I hope you have enjoyed visiting the wildlife in our backyard.  What kind of wildlife do you have?

If you decide to join in on this challenge, please tag me so I can see your great photos!    #GardenChallenge

There isn’t much in the way of wildlife in my garden. Sparrows and the occasional hedgehog is about it – unless you count the drunks coming out of the local bar on a Saturday night!

Wow, what lovely photos of all the visits from wildlife. I love the bluebird with its wing spanned like it is going to land the best.

To much snow in my area to get anything except a frozen garden in my area.

Thanks Sandy, I love the bird coming in for a landing too! These were actually taken last spring but looking forward to getting the garden going so the critters will all be back. Thanks for stopping by.
