End of the April Ultimate Blog Challenge

It seems like it was just the beginning of April and there were times my mind was blank for a blog. But now it’s the end of the April Ultimate Blog Challenge and I’m happy to say I completed all 30 days! My 42nd blog challenge has ended!
I enjoyed reading the blogs from the other members, I went on virtual trips with some, I followed all about things of the 1980’s, saved so yummy Vegan recipes and read about snow in the spring and gardens.

Yesterday was the first day I used ChatGPT! I asked for ideas in an area between the white panels and the concrete rock border in my yard that won’t grow grass and they sent me a few ideas. The first picture is now and the next pictures are the two “finalists” that I’m thinking of. I’m leaning towards the middle picture so next UBC hopefully I’ll have a good start on this project if I can find flagstone. I’ve sketched up my idea of tweaking their ideas, now I’m on a search to get everything needed to make this project come together. Think I can do it? I hope so!

I like to end the challenge month with a poem I wrote, it’s like the one I wrote for the beginning of the challenge but it has an extra sentence at the end!
Congratulations to all the participants this month, I think we are all winners even if you didn’t write a blog each day! A special congratulations to those who made it to the end with 30 blogs!

The party is over and Lia and I want to thank Paul again for putting the UBC together. We’d also like to thank everyone who visited, read, shared and commented on our blogs. 42 challenges down, 8 more to go to get to my Golden Anniversary of the Ultimate Blog Challenge! So for now, let’s BLOG ON!!

You and Lia are such great bloggers. Lia is absolutely the first person I’ve ever known who took up blogging as a baby and, for sure, she is a natural at it. I have always loved her stories. I’ll never forget the video that you shared of her breaking an egg as a little two year old. I would have crushed it in my baby hands, but Lia didn’t do that. She carefully broke the egg and poured it into a bowl with no shell remaining. And you, Martha, are a wonderful storyteller. The way that you encourage and provide Lia with opportunities to shine is absolutely amazing. I am so grateful for your friendship. Who ever thought that we would bond over blogging? But it happened and I am s grateful that it did.
Aww thank you Alice. That egg breaking video just came up in my memories not too long ago, Lia was 2 1/2! I still smile when I see how careful she was. I have so enjoyed your storytelling and I’m so happy was met up through this challenge. I’ll be looking forward to “seeing” you in the July challenge!
Great job using ChatGPT, you’ll see it opens a whole new world. Of course you can do it, you always tackle your projects!
Congratulations on completing so many UBC series, it’s always lovely to connect with you 🙂
Thanks Tamara, I figured I should jump on the ChatGPT bandwagon to keep me a little up to date on the new things in the tech world. I always enjoy your blogs also and look forward to seeing you in the July challenge.
Lovely to have read your blog this month, and I hope you go from strength to strength. Good luck with the garden project!
Thank you Janice. Keeping busy is the best thing for me and I love coming up with new projects. Hopefully I’ll have a good report on my garden project in July.
First off, I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on different things and exchanging blog comments with me on UBC. Those are cool yard designs you got from ChatGPT. See you in the next challenge, my friend. Blog on!
Thanks Danwil, I figured up better get up in the world with all thlye new tech that’s out there! LOL I’m excited to see if I can transform my yard into something close to ChatGPT! Looking forward to seeing you back in the challenge in July.
Aw! What a great poem! I love it. You’re a woman of many talents.
I love how you’ve used chat gpt. I will look forward to what the finished project looks like.
Looking forward to seeing you in July.
Thanks Barbara! I’m hoping my garden project looks half way like the design ChatGPT sent me. If not, come up with a plan B! See you in July with a report.
Congrats, Martha. You did awesome, showing up every day. Love photos of you and Lia standing on ladders.
Thanks Lily, you did great too! I think the ladder picture needs a retake, I think that was 6 years ago. Lia was about 2 1/2!
