Delicious Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Delicious Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Do you enjoy baking but sometimes just don’t have the time for complicated recipes?  Well that is me most of the time!  By the time I get home from work, cook dinner and then get working on the computer, the time goes too fast to bring out all the ingredients and make something for my sweet tooth.  But I love searching for quick and easy, not to mention delicious recipes online.  This is one of those recipes that literally only takes minutes to make!  One of my Facebook friends found it and posted these Delicious Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip cookies!

Besides being delicious, they are super quick to make with only four ingredients! Yes, you read that right, there are only 4 ingredients.   Check out how easy they are to make!  You will need:

1 cup peanut butter

1 cup granulated sugar

2 eggs

1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Bake 10 – 12 minutes in 350 degree oven.

That’s it, however I love almond flavoring so I added 1/2 teaspoon to the batter. Even with five ingredients it’s quick!

Mix the peanut butter, sugar and eggs together in a bowl until blended together.  If adding flavoring, add that at this time also.

Next blend in the chocolate chips.  These are also good without the chips if you just want peanut butter cookies.  You could also add peanut butter chips for an overload taste of peanut butter!  There are so many variations you could make with this basic recipe, add chopped nuts, dried fruit, coconut or even little M&M candies. I think the next time I make them, I’ll crush up some Butterfinger bars and add that instead of the chocolate chips.

After I mixed everything together, I used my melon scoop to make the cookies. It’s the perfect size and quick and easy to drop on ungreased baking sheets or silicone baking mats. Pop them in the oven for about 12 minutes and that’s it. I actually made the cookies while dinner was cooking so I didn’t have any wasted time in the kitchen.

I let them cool (that was the hard part because I was ready to eat them right out of the oven) and then got a cold glass of milk for my after dinner snack!

I’ve already get ideas for my next batch, what about you?  Hope you enjoy making and eating these super Delicious Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Thanks Balsam, indeed they are super easy! I was thinking of trying the chocolate spread like peanut butter. If that works, it would be delicious with coconut! I’ll let you know how that goes.
