Color of the Day is Emerald

For today’s challenge, the Color of the Day is Emerald. Emerald green is a bright, vivid shade of green. To get any color green including emerald green it is made by mixing blue and yellow paint. The more blue you add, the darker the shade will be. Many people like Emerald gem stones in their jewelry.

As for me I’m not a jewelry person but if I was, I might have an Emerald ring like what is on this slot machine game. Instead of a ring, I’ll just take the cash. LOL

I found a small bottle of Coty Emeraude Perfume with an Emerald green top tucked away in a drawer. Now I don’t wear perfume either but this is a bottle my mother had and I hold on to it as a memory.

I found it! I large spool of Emerald green machine embroidery thread! Embroidery thread is different than regular poly/cotton sewing thread, it has a nice sheen to it when a pattern is embroidered.

When I started looking for the Color of the Day is Emerald I wasn’t sure I would find anything around the house but I think I passed the color test!

Some of the colors are challenging Nancy but so far I’ve been able to search deep and find something! I’m enjoying your colors in the challenge too!
