If you are looking for a versatile pair of shears, look no farther than Chef Remi Kitchen Shears.   First I love the black and red handles with the super sharp, corrosion resistant stainless steel blades.

With the micro-serrated edge on one side of the blade, it keeps from slipping when I’m cutting meat and poultry.  These are not thin and flimsy blades, the measure about 1/8″ thick and even cut through frozen meat!  I had some frozen steaks about 3/4″ thick that I cut up for stir fry and the shears cut through without any problem.  They are also great to cut other meats, vegetables and even herbs. The shears are easy to clean, after I cut the meat, I washed them immediately with hot water to make sure to remove any meat particles.  Are you left handed?  Chef Remi kitchen shears can be used for both left or right handed chefs.

Whether you have a large or small hand, the handle openings are comfortable to hold and cut no matter what size your hand is.   But they are not just kitchen shears, it’s also has multiple uses.

With the serrated section between the handles, it’s easy to open the hard to turn bottles.  I tried it on a bottle of water that was super tight and it opened it so easy. This is a great feature especially for those like my husband who has severe rheumatoid arthritis.

On the back end of the blade there is even a pop top bottle opener, another great feature. When I’m through using my kitchen shears, I hang them up by the handle for my next cutting up meal.  I am very pleased with the quality and construction of Chef Remi’s Kitchen Shears and they stand behind the product with a 100% money back lifetime guarantee. I received this product in exchange for my honest review and as with all of Chef Remi products I have purchased, I highly recommend them.

Wow, that looks like a very handy pair of shears. I could use something that to cut through meat easily.

  2. I have an under-the-cabinet jar opener from Pampered Chef. It’s one of my favorite gadgets. You screw it into the bottom of the cabinet, above the counter. It is a V-shape, similar to the hand-held ones by OXO and others. But I like that I don’t have to store it in a drawer, and it’s easy to slide jars as small as extract bottles and as large as mayonnaise jars into the thing, give a twist, and it’s open!

That sounds ideal Katheryn! I like the idea of having it hidden out of sight when not in use plus it saves space in the drawer! Thanks for visiting.
