BUCKET LIST

BUCKET LIST

The January Ultimate Blog Challenge is moving right along with day 19, we have less than two weeks to go!  Today’s suggested topic is to write about something on your bucket list. I’ve tried to come up with something but I can’t think of anything I especially want to do before I “kick the bucket”.

Hubby and I have been together over 52 years and as long as we are together, that’s all we need on our bucket list. We started out young and have grown old together.

Our favorite get away spot is in the Great Smoky Mountains and it would be wonderful to end up there when and if we ever decide to close our interior decorating shop. Every time we sneak away for a quick stay, we drive pass so many quint, old cabins, I know hubby would love to move into any one of them. I could see us in our old age, (oh wait, that’s where we are now LOL) sitting on the porch, gazing through the woods watching the wild animals graze. If we turn our heads, we could see the beautiful, peaceful streams and maybe even throw in a line to catch dinner!

So even though I don’t have a bucket list of exotic, far away places, hubby and I could enjoy a cabin in the middle of nowhere. As long as we have each other, we have the entire world.

I started my blog on Christmas Day 2014 mainly to review products I received. Since then it has evolved into many other categories of lifestyles, family, money saving ideas, low cost, delicious and healthy meals plus other surprise posts. My granddaughter has her own category, Alex's Articles and the latest addition to my blog is my great granddaughter now has her category, Lia's Likings The Baby Blogger! This is one of the old cabins on the Oconaluftee Indian Village at Cherokee, NC Alice. It’s like stepping back in time where the simple life was so beautiful. I’ll send you my address! 🙂
