This is quite a versatile baby carrier, being able to carry the baby in front, either facing you or facing away from you so the baby can see what’s happening. Once we figured out how to assemble the baby carrier, it was easy to adjust the straps for the perfect position. The straps are well padded, criss-cross across the back making it comfortable on the shoulders with even support. I like the large plastic buckles that clip securely.

When the baby is facing you, the back of the carrier keeps baby upright and when the baby faces forward, the top edge folds down so baby can see the world.

Being washable is great since we all know babies tend to spit up and drool. With your baby safety tucked in the baby carrier, your hands will be free for shopping, cleaning or even taking your dog with you while taking baby for a walk. This seat is designed to hold your baby safely up to 24 months or 40 pounds. With a small infant, being able to keep our eyes on them full time, this front holding baby seat is the answer. When you baby gets older and can sit up fully on his own, you can use this as a back pack for the baby on your back. The weight is evenly distributed on your shoulders with the baby in the middle so no more sore shoulders or hips from carrying the baby on your side. The only thing I wish it had was written directions instead of having to message the seller after the baby carrier has arrived.
