Thoughts From Our Granddaughter
On Father’s Day
This morning, our 20 year old granddaughter sent the below Father’s Day message and photo collage to her “papa”. After I was able to dry my eyes, from the happy tears, I wanted to share the thoughts from our granddaughter to my readers. There is nothing more that I can add to her beautiful words.
Happy Father’s Day to my “real dad”, my grandpa (my “pops”/”pop”/”papa”/”old man”/”old coot”/etc). Spent the first two years of my life basically glued to him, LOL. By far the best/my favorite man in my life and will always hold that spot! He’s been there for me since day 1, no matter what. Whether it’s taking me in the middle of the night cuz my parents don’t wanna take care of me, or picking me up from elementary school everyday with a chocolate frosty. Even til this day as an adult, he’s still always there when I need someone to run (or fly lol) to. I’m glad he promised me 20 years ago that he’s gonna live to be 200, cuz idk what I’d do without him. (I need to get more money coming in, because back then I also promised him I’d buy him a boat and fly him out to flagstaff LOL ). I love my grandparents so much. my parents may not be around but that doesn’t bother me because my grandparents are the best parents anybody could have anyway.
Then to top it off, Alexandra and her brother Zac got this shirt for papa with a card that says VIP. Well VIP stands for “Very Important Papa”. What a perfect card and meaning. Pop and I love you both Alex and Zac.
Alexandra is and has always been so caring and helpful since she was a tiny one helping at work. You can see why I have nothing more to add to her wonderful and loving post.
But if you want to see more beautiful memories of Alex and papa, check out my HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEXANDRA blog.
