The Past Few Months
Yesterday was Day 1 of the April 2020 Ultimate Blog Challenge and I shared some of my stats. When the January challenge ended my goal was to write at least one or two blogs a week until the next challenge. The past few months I’m happy to say I kept up with my personal challenge! February I wrote 10 blogs and in March I wrote 12 blogs!
For the past few months I have been writing on a variety of topics, from cooking, crafts, Wordless Wednesday photos and I even had a give away contests. I’m sharing my top three blogs from February and March.
Top February Blogs
My top blog in February wasn’t really my blog, it was my GGraddaughter Lia’s! Lia and her mommy made cinnamon rolls in her Baking with Lia blog and were they delicious! I love the picture of her “reading” the directions!
Coming in second was one of my cabbage blogs. I love cabbage and in January I experimented on freezing cabbage. This blog tells about my Frozen Cabbage Success I have a link in this blog for some of my yummy cabbage recipes and how I prepared the cabbage for freezing.
It looks like Lia the Baby Blogger took the show for February! Her Baking Day Again Banana Bread rounded out the top three blogs for February. Lia’s banana bread recipe is not just bananas, it also has applesauce in it and it’s so moist!
Top March Blogs
March was birthday month for both my granddaughter and me. Alexandra’s birthday was March 7th and mine was March 12th so we decided to have our Minky Blanket Giveaway contest in between our birthdays! We had over 200 visitors to this blog, making it the top blog for March. You can visit www.facebook.com/MamasMinkys to see how Mama’s Minkys are made with love and baby approved. (Lia is our quality control inspector)
Lia is actually working on a few ideas and we plan to have another giveaway for one of Lia’s Butterfly Cuddlers!
I’m so excited that Mommy and Me came in second! This was a Wordless Wednesday blog were I shared some beautiful shots of Alexandra and her precious daughter Lia. It’s hard to believe Lia will be two years old in August!
Rounding out the top third was once again a blog by Lia! She did a craft project using her hand and footprints for her Mommy’s Birthday Surprise. And what a surprise it was, mommy was so excited when she opened the beautiful gift that Lia made for her!
Lia writes her Friday Story Time by Lia most every Friday and shares some delicious recipes and fun craft projects. Stop by Lia’s Likings the Baby Blogger to see more of her work!
So here we are, excited to participate in another Ultimate Blog Challenge! I’m looking forward to visiting and reading your blogs!
I’m trying to get better at posting on my blog.. but, with not many(if any) followers, it can be frustrating. but, im trying.
You’re doing great Kelly. It takes time just don’t give up! Glad to see you back in the challenge.
Nice stroll down (recent) memory lane.
Well you have already been down memory lane Roy. Thanks for being a steady follower!
Congrats on staying active with your blog during the time in between! Lia is growing by leaps and bounds, it seems. Looks like she helped quite a bit with your blog posts, which was very nice of her. 🙂
I’m proud that I was able to stick with my 2 blogs per week Jeanine but with Lia helping it’s really no problem! Yes she is growing so fast and she is so smart, there is nothing that she won’t try.
It looks like you have a lot of fun together with your little one. You’ve got some beautiful pictures of the two of you on this post. I like how you get your child involved in cooking early on in life. That will make such a difference later on. #BlogBoost
Thank you Crystal. Everything that Lia and I are doing brings back memories of when I did the same with her mommy. Lia loves to learn and get involved in everything. She may not remember them all now at a young age but she will have the knowledge throughout her life. Thanks for visiting.
Oh Lia is everyone’s favorite and thanks to you we are virtually watching her grow up.
Lia has quite a follow Amrita and her fanclub on Facebook grows every day. She is growing so fast but brings so much joy to “papa” and me.
Happy belated Birthday, Martha. I am happy that your blog is doing so well.
Thanks Brenda and I’m so enjoying blogging especially since Lia is helping me. A big congratulations on publishing your book!
What a precious little one!
Love that blanket. Thank you for sharing what blog posts have done well – it was interesting to see.
Thanks April, Lia is such a special little one. There is nothing that she won’t try and wants to help in everything. Thanks for visiting.
Martha, I love baby blogger, it’s too cute.
Thanks Brenda, I wonder what we will have to change her title to when she gets older. Of course she will always be our baby!
I am happy that you reached your personal blogging goal. 🙂 Keep writing.
Thanks Amanda, and thank you for helping me reach my goal!
