The End is Here!
Today is May 31st, the last day of the May Ultimate Blog Challenge! A few years ago I wrote a poem for the beginning of the challenge. I used the same poem and added a few extra lines for the ending of the challenge. So since the end is here, it’s time to share my poem once again!
I started the Ultimate Blog Challenge in January 2016 and I completed each challenge since then, 22 to be exact! I have met so many wonderful bloggers over the years and many have become great friends.
Have you checked your stats since when the challenge started on May 1st? I like to check mine out and see the difference from a month with no challenge. This month as of yesterday afternoon, I had 5173 views. That’s all because of the great friends and bloggers who visit, comment, share, and like my blog posts. Another thing I like to check is which blogs had the most traffic. These are my top three.

The blog with the most traffic for May was http://themarthareview.com/wordless-wednesday-mountain-trip/ and coming in at number two was http://themarthareview.com/i-made-delicious-pizza/ by Lia. This does not surprise me because Lia is always in the top five! Coming in third was, you guessed it a blog from Lia again when she went strawberry picking! http://themarthareview.com/i-went-strawberry-picking/
I hope all the bloggers who participated in the May Ultimate Blog Challenge enjoyed it as much as Lia and I did and for the newbies, hope to see you back August challenge! I’d like to give our host, Paul a huge THANK YOU for putting this great challenge together and a big CONGRATULATIONS to all the participants whether you completed it almost completed the challenge. In my book you are all winners for at least trying! Lia says thank you for reading her Friday Story Time by Lia and even though the UBC is over, her stories will continue!
So while the end is here for the May Ultimate Blog Challenge I am now going to participate in the Cornerstone Content Blog Challenge. This is a challenge that Jeanine Byers and myself thought up last year. Do to Jeanine focusing on a new program she is working on, I will be heading the June Cornerstone Challenge. This month will be a bit different since many bloggers have more than a full plate. We plan to write a blog Monday, Wednesday and Friday or if you have the time, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We will leave the weekend days to regroup in our normal activities or get plans for the following week to blog about. There will not be a list to follow, you can blog about your niche or what every pops in your head. Either way I’m excited to be participating in yet another challenge!
