Product Reviews with a Personal Touch
Product Reviews with a Personal Touch
I enjoy trying a product and writing a review on the good or not so good points of the product. I always add photographs to my reviews to make it more interesting and to let my readers see the product “in action”. I never gave it a thought about how I write product reviews with a personal touch, I just did it to help both the seller to show their product in use and also for a potential customer so they can see how a product can be used, instead of just reading stats as to what they can find on the product website. These are some examples of my product reviews, showing how I use the product and why I think it’s a good item to have.
The SILICONE BURGER PRESS is awesome! I can make six burgers at a time, cook a few and freeze the extra for another meal. When I wrote about this product, I added photos from adding the hamburger to the press, up to cooking and showing how delicious the cooked burger was.
For some reason I get carried away when writing my reviews on cooking items, maybe because I love food! This is how I reviewed some BARBECUE SKEWERS. The rack that holds the skewers is great.
For this GREEN EARTH FRY PAN instead of just writing about the pan and showing photos of it, I made dinner and took photos while actually cooking with the pan. I even added a video to show how easy the egg slides out without sticking. Now I must tell you, my videos really need help! I have to work on them so they are more interesting but hopefully my readers get the idea of what I’m trying to get across.
While I’m mentioning cook ware, I also wrote a review on the GREEN EARTH WOK and like the fry pan, I took photos for my blog while cooking dinner. This way my readers can see how easy it is to cook the food in plus show how it doesn’t stick and the easy clean up.
This is a item I have tried previously from other companies, but the CHEF REMI GRILL MATS are absolutely awesome! I love to grill but I don’t like to have the meat fall through the grill slats. When I would grill vegetables, I would use aluminum foil but they would stick to that at times. These grill mats are perfect for the vegetables and meat.
I was so excited about the Chef Remi Grill Mats when I grilled salmon, I had to write a GRILL MATS TAKE TWO blog to show you how great the mats are for fish also. It stays juicy, still browns the skin and tastes delicious!
As I mentioned at the beginning of this blog, I never gave it a thought about adding personal touches, I just did it hoping to help others so was I surprised the other day when I was reading a blog from one of my blogger friends where she wrote about adding personal touches to blogs. She used one of my blogs as an example of what she looks for when reading product reviews. Not only was I surprised, but I was honored that she would add my link to her blog.
Sandy has a few blogs and writes such interesting articles and this is the link she wrote about adding a personal touch to blogs. http://blogjob.com/rusty2rustyschatter/archives/510
This is a segment from Sandy’s blog:
“Same thing when I am searching a blog for a product review. I look for a personal touch. If I want to know more about a product. I will go to the product’s website or look through Amazon. When I want to know how a product works in a customer’s hands, I search out bloggers who have tried and used the product.
This is an example of what I like to read in a product review that has reached a consumer’s hands : Chef Remi Grill Mats Take Two http://themarthareview.com/chef-remi-grill-mats-take-two/. This blogger shows how she has used the product and how it works through her photography. I liked her review so much. I am waiting for my own set of two Chef Remi Grill mats to come in the mail.”
I would like to thank everyone that reads my reviews and sends me questions or comments plus letting me know they have purchased a product after reading my review. I hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoy spreading the word about great products.
Guess what!!! My grill mat came in today!! I am going t try it out this weekend on the grill. What have you found to be the easiest to cook with it food wise?
YAY!! I’ll be waiting to see your pictures Sandy! When I cook burgers or steak, I don’t add anything to the mat. The meat doesn’t stick to it and it’s easy to move around. I do spray a small amount of oil to the mat when grilling vegetables and I brushed butter on it when I grilled my salmon. (I have to have butter with my salmon) It’s that easy, put the meat or veges on the mat, no way for things to drop through the grill grates. I’ve cooked, burgers, steak, fish, veges, no problem with any of them. Thanks for visiting, I’ll be waiting for dinner. LOL
Thank you for explaining that. I really appreciate all your helpful hints to help me create a yummy meal for my family. The family is going to try to grill out tomorrow if this good weather holds up.
Glad I could help Sandy, I so love cooking on the Chef Remi grill mats. I’ll be waiting to read your blog about them! Thanks for stopping by!
