The Past Seven Days
The Past Seven Days
For the past seven days, my blog views have steadily been climbing. I made changes to a few things that may contribute to this. Appearance on a blog makes a big difference. With help from my grandson, CJ the computer genius, the header on my blog has been updated and it sure stands out now! Since he gave me a lesson on making my photos look better, my posts are more organized and easier to read. Sharing on social sites is also a great way to get your blog out to different audiences. I’m noticing a big jump since I’ve added a few more sharing sites.
From Saturday, July 30th until August 5th, this is where my views are. My highest amount was on the 30th with 314 views. I attribute this to the blog I wrote about the Business Insider interviewing Ripe Healthy Catering in NYC. On July 31st, I had a total of 234 views, thanks to my Continuing Education Classes blog. August 1st through August 5th, went up like notes on a music scale. August 1st – 120 views, August 2nd – 132, August 3rd – 158, August 4th – 173 and ending the week on August 5th with 187 views. On this date I wrote a blog about making Homemade Artisan Bread. That’s a total of 1318 views in just one week!
I also realized when I add links to posts that pertain to another post, that helps increase my blog views, not only on the original blog I wrote but also on the links that are added.
My views would not be where they are if it wasn’t for all the wonderful people that read and share my blog to others. This brings it to even more audiences of people that wouldn’t find my blog if it wasn’t for those that share.
I’ll be having a few surprises coming up soon, so be on the look out for them!
Great to see your views. It’s interesting to see other people’s success and read how they made it happen. Good luck with the future!
Thanks Alexandria, I too enjoy seeing success on other bloggers. It’s amazing how one share can go so far! Thanks for stopping by.
Promoting our posts can be as hard as writing them in the first place but the effort is worth it. There’s no point in writing something if no-one reads it.
Good point Bill. It seems like they more we promote to other sites, the more people will see them and in turn may share on their sites to get an entire new audience. A post could actually be up and running for a long time. Thanks for stopping by.
Very nice indeed! keep on keeping on 🙂
Thanks Savvy Age! It’s exciting to check the stats and see which blog has been the must popular. Thanks for visiting!
