Do you have a favorite type of cheese you enjoy? Well get ready to make something cheesy because today is National Cheese Lovers Day. I like most all kinds of cheese but my favorite is Swiss Cheese. When I visited my daughter in Virginia last November we went to Wegman’s, this place was amazing! Large displays of just about anything you could imagine but the cheese section is what got to me! They had huge cheese wedges and wheels from so many different countries and varieties I had never even

Welcome to my Rainbow Connection Spiritual Sunday blog. Yesterday I was listening to the song Rainbow Connection, sung by Jim Henson back in the days from the Muppets. While I’ve heard this song since my children were young when they watched the Muppets, I never really listened to the words. I took these pictures all at the same time but only one shows the correct time. Maybe I’ll just decide what time I want it to be. We have so many clocks in the house but it’s gotta be 5 o’clock somewhere on Silly Saturday. Oh yes, the stove! The stove is the only clock that shows the correct time other than my mobile phone! We always kept the bedroom clock about 10 minutes fast so if by chance we slept in, we’d hurry to get ready only to remember

Hi everyone, it’s Lia again and today my blog is here and there for Friday Story Time by Lia. I’m sharing some Christmas, some Snowball and a surprise. Christmas I have so many toys that I don’t even play with so Christmas wasn’t about toys and things that won’t be used after a few weeks. Mommy called it more like experiences. I received about ten different “gift cards” that mommy made showing what it was for and how much it was worth. I got one for Big Air, a fun

Today I’m sharing some January memories from both mine and Rich’s parents. I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence or it just happened this way but all four of them passed away in the month of January. The first to leave us was Rich’s dad on January 23, 1997 at 79 years old. My mom left us on January 15, 2000 also 79 years old. My mom and dad would have been married 57 years in October 2000 and for six long years my dad missed my mom so much.
