Today I’m sharing some of my cannas for Wordless Wednesday. We planted a few bulbs years ago and they have spread and now border the backyard fence. I love yellow flowers, they make me happy. I don’t know about your weather, be ours is super hot, humid and sometimes rain. Then after the rain it gets even hotter! On days when it’s too hot to cook I love making a quick cucumber and tomato salad. My neighbor has a small garden but it produces so many cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers. My steady readers know I love coming up with ideas to reuse something that I have hanging around the house or yard. My latest project was when I repurposed a galvanized bucket that was hanging on the back fence just waiting to be turned into something useful after I saved it from the recycling center years ago. Why not make a large flower pot?? But since the bucket is about 12″ deep I would need a lot of soil to fill it and that would be super heavy. So I
I’m visiting my daughter and son-in-law and I found another Catholic church to visit in a town over from Manassas. I went there yesterday for the evening Mass and both the inside and outside are beautiful. It even has a prayer garden that I visited. These are pictures of the peaceful little prayer garden in a wooded area across from the church. I love visiting the different churches while visiting other areas and it was so peaceful sitting in the prayer garden to meditate. I hope you enjoyed my Spiritual
