I had today’s blog written last night but at 3am the suggested prompt came in my email. The topic was talking about how visitors come to blogs to learn something and today is to teach them something! Well there will be no fireworks in our area this year to celebrate a Happy 4th of July but that’s okay since I don’t even miss not being able to go places since the stay at home orders have been in place. I’m actually enjoying the peace and quiet in our own backyard with colorful flowers instead of loud fireworks. We can’t celebrate the 4th without a picnic now can we? So I’m sharing some tried and true family recipes that have been passed down from my mom and grandmother.

It’s time to check my stats again since for the past three months I have completed challenges. This Ultimate Blog Challenge will be my fourth monthly challenge in a row. Because of all my posts my stats are off the chart. In April 2019 I hit the 100,000 Milestone in blog views. It took me a little over 4 years from the time I started my blog to reach this many views.
