No Sleep For Me
Hi, this is Lia and it’s Friday Story Time with Lia The Baby Blogger! This is my story about No Sleep For Me.
I’m growing up so fast and learning so many new things! Mommy said at 16 months old I’m really smart, I can say a few words and even put a them together for a tiny sentence. I’m a pro when it comes to feeding myself and I even feed my babies! When it comes to cuddling I’m the best.
My only problem according to mommy is I don’t sleep on my own anymore. When I was a baby mommy would put me in my bed, kiss me good night and I would sleep until morning! Now when I go to sleep I wake up every few hours during the night. Mommy comes in my room but I don’t want her to leave me until she holds me and I fall asleep again. Then she carefully lays me back in my crib until I wake up in a few hours again!
By 6am, I’m wide awake and ready to begin my day. While mommy thinks it’s too early to get up, I’m being silly and putting a shirt on over my jammies!
Mommy says I’m such a little helper! I love helping with the laundry and vacuuming. When I’m done playing, I even pick up my toys.
I think I wake up so much because I’m anxious to see what we are going to do for the day. I love going shopping with mommy and I get so excited when I get new clothes. Isn’t that what girls do?
I even help unpack the groceries and hand the packages to mommy to put in the refrigerator. Yes, mommy say’s I’m so helpful.
My naps are few and far between now but when I’m visiting GGpapa and mama I love to snuggle on papa’s lap and I can sleep for hours!
So while there is no sleep for me, I told mommy I love her and I only keep waking up because I love her so much. She told me she loves me too but we both need to get a good night’s sleep. So I have to work on my only flaw of not sleeping through the night so mommy can get her sleep too.

Awwww! What a sweetheart! You’ll never believe it now, but one day you’ll miss this season.
That’s what I tell her mommy Carrie! Lia is so advanced in everything she does plus very tall. Most people think she’s 2 or 2 1/2 but in reality she is still a baby even though she doesn’t act like one. She’s growing up so fast, need to have her slow down! LOL

All the best with the sleeping. My granddaughter finds a fan or white noise from an ipad app help with the sleep. But maybe that is only to help get to sleep.
Her mom mentioned about checking the ipad apps Doug. She’s cutting two bottom teeth and already has 3 molars but the fourth one is being stubborn and won’t pop through. I think that might be part of the waking up unless my first thought of her not wanting to miss anything! LOL

I have problems at times too Amanda, I think it’s because I’m always thinking of what I’m doing the next day. Sometimes I’m awake until 2am but then 6am gets here early!
